Autism Spectrum Enhanced Intuition
Autism Spectrum Enhanced Intuition has a special gift: the gift of Enhanced Intuition. The documentary, “InnSæi: The Power of Intuition” is now available on Netflix. It is a wonderful way to spend seventy-eight minutes of your time learning how fundamental Intuition is to our lives, our strengths, our beliefs, our sanity, especially for those of us with learning differences.
Enhanced Intuition, a Definition
Once again, I wish to emphasize I am writing this Blog from a personal perspective. Therefore, I have not chosen to link any outside opinions. This is a private perspective — one that has brought me great strength and support.
Many sources describe Intuition differently, depending on who is doing the speaking. Scientists discount the power of Intuition. Spiritualists are more supportive by saying our Intuition is there to motivate and direct us. Behaviorists are newly on-board, referring to our Intuition as a graphic “gut feeling” explaining yes, our Intuition may actually come from our digestive tract. Regardless, Intuition is real and a blessing to those of us living on the Autism Spectrum.
Intuition, a Key Element
I always feel I am somehow lesser than everyone else because I am living with Autism Spectrum learning differences. I feel like it is so much harder to understand things: the world is difficult to navigate and is so much harder to succeed. But I have come to believe living with learning differences also brings us an enhanced level of Intuition.
- Our Intuition enables us to get answers to many of life’s questions.
- Our Intuition never lies to us.
- Our Intuition never tries to manipulate us.
- Listening to, and relying on our Intuition makes living with learning differences tolerable.
How to Enhance our Intuition
It starts with quiet; it ends with quiet. Our Intuition speaks to us only during absolute quiet. In today’s world, with constant noise pollution, living in absolute quiet takes the real effort. We cannot hear our Intuitive voices while there is so much noise coming at us from all around. Noise pollution is everywhere: traffic, t.v., radio, the Internet, co-workers, and more. Spiritual leaders often retreat to places of absolute quiet to escape noise pollution. Absolute silence aids concentration and ability to be spiritually focused.
Total concentration in absolute quiet is the only way we release our mental powers of Intuition.
In an article on CNN, Jake Gyllenhaal discusses why he chooses to not be on social media.
Our Intuition comes to us as in our own voice and no others. Our Intuitive Voice is kind and supportive. It gently guides us to correct answers we are capable. Our Intuition is always available: we must simply sit quietly, concentrate our own regular heartbeat and the correct answers come to us every time.
Why is this so hard?
Along with the distractions of noise pollution, those of us living on the Autism Spectrum are also addicted to everything damaging: sugar, caffeine, alcohol, drugs, sex, social media and more. Each of these can give us momentary highs that are also artificial and harmful. They do not sustain us in any way. They are not beneficial to our mental or physical well-being. They do not help us solve problems or motivate us to succeed. They are constant distractions. To someone living on the Autism Spectrum noise pollution and addictions are hard to resist, much more than for people with no learning differences: we have little or no filters for recognizing and removing them from our lives. Taking specific steps to remove them is imperative to releasing our Intuitive Gifts.
Ways to Unlock our Intuitive Gifts
Begin with this crucial step: for one full week live with no t.v., movies, Internet, social media, newspapers, books, magazines or radio. Live the entire seven days with no outside communication of any kind. Read only your own written words. Listen only to natural sounds of nature: birds chirping, leaves rustling, waves crashing on the shore, rivers bubbling over rocks. Go wherever there is quiet as often as you can:
- Listen to your heartbeat.
- Listen to your own thoughts.
- Listen and be guided by the center of your own universe: your Intuition.
- Trust the truths you hear.
- Trust in the safety of your own voice.
- Trust in your strengths.
Autism Spectrum Enhanced Intuition in today’s go-go, loud and distracting world makes it difficult for us to listen to our Enhanced Intuition abilities. Our complicated way of thinking makes us afraid of taking chances. We do not trust our own thoughts. We depend on the advice of others falsely believing they know better.
No one knows our gifts, our abilities, our powers better than we do. No one.
- Trust that we can excel.
- Trust that we can prosper.
- Trust that we can do amazing things.
“Buddhism and Christianity have many points in common:
the same philosophy of love for the other,
the aspiration to lift the human being above vices,
with compassion and forgiveness.”
